Tools You Will Need:
Tape measure, marker, utility knife /hand saw, rubber mallet, work gloves, vacuum cleaner. Needle‑nose pliers for tight corners. For outdoor: composite joists, self‑tapping screws.
Pre‑Installation Preparation:
Unpack tiles, lay loosely without locking. Spread color variations, count tiles to be cut for edges.
Start point: Start at room corner, interlocking tabs face working direction.
Lock tiles: Angle second tile approx.45°, press down until you hear “click”. Tap edges gently with rubber mallet. Do not hammer tile top.
Expansion gap: Leave 3‑5 mm gap against walls, door frames and pillars to prevent buckling.
Cut for edges: Measure and mark. Score repeatedly with utility knife then snap; use hand saw for thick tiles. Fit cut pieces in place.
Important Notes:
Do not force‑hammer clips. Clear debris and adjust angle if locking fails.
Ensure good drainage for open‑air balconies. Avoid long‑term pooling water.
Do NOT lay over soft carpet or foam pads, which causes sinking & loose tiles.
Removal: Lift tiles from corners, release clips one‑by‑one. Tiles are reusable.
