Recently, Ka Silian New Materials Technology Co., Ltd., a leading domestic building materials enterprise, launched a new type of aluminum-plastic co-extruded wall panel product. Relying on unique material composite technology and anti-aging technology, it officially claims a service life of up to 50 years, breaking the 10-25 year service life limit of traditional wall panels in one fell swoop. In the performance demonstration session at the product launch site, the staff intuitively demonstrated the excellent performance of the wall panel through simulated tests such as heavy object impact, acid-base immersion and high-temperature exposure. The test results show that the wall panel has no obvious deformation after being impacted by a 50kg heavy object, no corrosion marks on the surface after being immersed in strong acid and alkali solutions for 24 hours, and the weight per square meter is only 3.5-5.5kg. Compared with traditional decorative materials such as stone and ceramic tiles, the construction efficiency is improved by more than 40%, which can significantly reduce building load and construction costs.
The 50-year service life commitment of this product is not only based on the breakthroughs in materials and processes, but also has passed the durability certification of a third-party authoritative organization. The certification report shows that under normal indoor and outdoor environments, the product can achieve no obvious aging, delamination or fading within 50 years, fully meeting the requirements for long-term durability in the "Government Procurement Demand Standards for Green Buildings and Green Building Materials (2025 Edition)". It can be widely used in key government procurement projects such as affordable housing, commercial complexes, hospitals and schools, and old community renovation.
At present, this new type of aluminum-plastic co-extruded wall panel has been applied in many benchmark projects. In the decoration project of a commercial complex in a first-tier city, relying on its metal texture decorative effect and convenient installation process, it completed the 2,000-square-meter wall decoration project in only 15 days, winning double recognition from the construction party and the owner; in the residential community project in the rainy area of southern China, the moisture-proof and corrosion-resistant performance of the product has also been fully verified, effectively solving the pain point that traditional wall panels are prone to moisture and deformation.
