Production Process: It usually adopts a co-extrusion process. Two extruders are used to extrude the PVC foam base material and ASA co-extrusion coating material respectively. Then, through a co-extrusion composite mold, the ASA coating layer adheres to the surface of the base material when the base material is extruded, forming the ASA-PVC foam co-extruded flooring.
Performance Characteristics: ASA (Acrylonitrile-Styrene-Acrylate) is a terpolymer of acrylonitrile, styrene, and acrylate. It has extremely strong UV resistance, stable color that is not easy to fade, and excellent impact resistance—especially outstanding low-temperature impact resistance. Meanwhile, it features strong chemical corrosion resistance, firm bonding with the PVC base material, and good thermal stability.
Product Advantages: As a new energy-saving wood-substituting material, ASA-PVC foam co-extruded flooring has the characteristics of good water resistance, high strength, flame retardancy, moth resistance, corrosion resistance, and aging resistance. It is an ideal substitute for wood and composite panels.
Application Fields: It is widely used in gardens, transportation, construction, home decoration, vehicle and ship interiors, etc. It is suitable for both indoor environments such as interior decoration and furniture, and outdoor places like garden landscapes.
Production Process: The production processes of different types of ASA foam wall panels vary. For example, ASA fly ash foam panels are composed of various industrial wastes such as harmless phosphogypsum, lightweight steel slag, and fly ash, and are made through variable-frequency steam pressure curing. ASA-WGG panels are formed by combining a lightweight foamed concrete surface layer, a self-extinguishing polystyrene board insulation layer, and a convex-concave groove structure for connection between panels through a special process.
Performance Characteristics: Generally, they have the characteristics of light weight and high strength. For instance, the single-point hanging force of the ASA-WGG panel wall is more than 25kN, which meets the requirements of seismic fortification intensity of 9 degrees. At the same time, they have good heat insulation, sound insulation, fire resistance, moisture resistance, and weathering resistance.
Product Advantages: ASA series panels combine many advantages such as environmental protection, high strength, good sound insulation, fire resistance, and heat insulation. With light weight, they are an important development direction for the modification of lightweight panels at home and abroad.
Application Fields: They are suitable for non-load-bearing internal partitions of various residential buildings, office buildings, and other civil and industrial buildings, and can also be used in external walls, roof surfaces, and other parts.
ASA: The full name is Acrylonitrile-Styrene-Acrylate Terpolymer, which is a high-performance engineering plastic with excellent weather resistance and impact resistance, widely used in outdoor and harsh environment-related products.
Co-extrusion Process: A plastic processing technology that uses multiple extruders to extrude different materials simultaneously and combine them into a single composite product through a shared mold, which can give the product multiple functional layers (e.g., the ASA surface layer for weather resistance and the PVC foam base layer for lightweight and insulation).
